SOCIAL STUDIES

The Grade 5 Social Studies curriculum covers Canada's history from the time of the First Peoples up to Confederation.  The Grade 6 curriculum covers from Confederation to present day Canada.  Students will use the textbooks People and Stories of Canada to 1867, Canada, A Country of Change 1867 to Present, the Internet, and various other resources to access information.  Students will be doing individual, partner, and large group activities.

Tests will be sent home for signatures.
