Welcome to the 2017 - 2018 school year

On behalf of the board of trustees, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the students, their families and staff of RRSD. The start of the year is always a special time with new students and faculty, new relationships, and exciting conversations after the summer months. Our staff have jumped in with both feet with two days of professional development on the PAX program. PAX teaches students self-regulation, self-control, and self-management in context of collaborating with others for peace, productivity, health, and happiness.

The Board of Trustees collectively commits to the vision, mission, and belief statement of Rolling River School Division and the impact they have on the success of our students. The Division’s four priorities (Literacy, Numeracy, Health and Well-Being, and Cultural Proficiency) are always at the forefront of all decisions made in regards to the education of Rolling River School Division students. The Board continues to attend professional development opportunities to ensure we are making sound decisions in our governance of Rolling River School Division.

We, the Board of Trustees, look forward to working collaboratively with the Senior Administration team, students, staff, families, and communities of Rolling River School Division to provide the most fulfilling education possible for our children. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank our stakeholders for the integral role each and every one of you have in the education of our students. We have much to be proud of each day in Rolling River School Division.

Respectfully,
