Rolling River School Division, in partnership with parents and community, provides a quality education, within a safe and caring learning environment, encouraging personal excellence, with dignity and respect for all. Rolling River School Division commits to graduating students who have the knowledge, skills and values that empower them to contribute positively and meaningfully in an ever changing local and global community.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF BOARD GOVERNANCE

The Rolling River School Division Board of Trustees will:

 

  • provide leadership and overall direction for the School Division by setting policy, determining priorities and establishing goals. 
  • provide the human and fiscal resources to fulfill its mission in a manner that reflects practicality, vision and trusteeship.
  • delegate to the Superintendent the authority to implement, attain and/or maintain policy, priorities and goals.
  • monitor the implementation, attainment and maintenance of policy, priorities and goals.
