ALC Student Diploma

 

Adults who have been out of school for more than six months and are at least 19 years of age are eligible to receive a high school diploma by earning 8 high school credits. Four of those credits need  to be Senior  4 (Grade 12) credits. The additional four credits are optional and can include previous schooling and /or Prior Learning Credits (PLAR).

Adults who are close to earning the 28 credits needed to earn a regular diploma can complete those requirements at the ALC and earn a regular diploma.

Adults who have already graduated can take credit courses to prepare for entry to a post-secondary school or employment requirements as well. A maximum of four post-graduation credits are possible.
