Elton Collegiate supports a student-elected council. The 2012-2013 council is comprised of Co-Presidents Rylee Wruth and Sarah Keller, Co- Vice Presidents Nikki Sykes and Rae Lynn Plowman, Secretary Elizabeth King, Treasurer Hannah Shields, and Social Convener Christa Penner..   Class representatives are:  Grade 9 - Nash Skrypek and Cassandra Goertzen, Grade 10 - Kendra Penner, Grade 11 - Ali Vivier-Hannay and Rylee Wruth, Grade 12 - Kelly Beddome and Taylor King.   Student Council activities include dances, spirit days and fundraisers. The council provides financial support to the school yearbook, graduation, and various sports teams.
