Grade 7 & 8 Supply List 2011-2012

 

Writing Utensils

  • 1 pack blue or black ballpoint pens
  • 1 pack of pencils (novelty pencils are discouraged because they don’t sharpen well)
  • 1 pack of pencil crayons
  • 1 pack of markers
  • 2 red ballpoint pens
  • 2 white erasers
  • White out
  • Highlighter

 Art Supplies

  • 1 Pair of scissors
  • 2 glue sticks

 Phys. Ed.

  • Running shoes
  • Change of clothes – sweats/shorts and t-shirt
  • Deodorant
  • Small bag for gym clothes

Measuring/Math Supplies

  • 1 – 30 cm ruler
  • 1 – calculator (NECESSITY – must have square root √ button)
  • 1 – geometry set

 Organizational Supplies                                   

  • 4 – 3 ringed binders
  • Loose Leaf
  • 10 dividers
  • 5 duotangs
  • 1 package reinforcements
  • Saulteaux Students - 1 coil bound notebook
  • Small student agenda/planne
  • rPencil case (must have)
  • Memory Stick – 1 or 2 Gb is sufficient

 Miscellaneous Supplies

  • 1 box of facial tissue

Tanner's Crossing Industrial Arts and Home Economics Supplies

(Gr. 7 & 8 Only)

(These supplies are to be left in the Industrial Arts or Home Ec. Room)

Students will need the following for each class:

  • 1 Duotang
  • 1 D1 pen
  • 1 pencil
  • 10 pages of looseleaf
  • 1 sturdy bag to hold sewing supplies
  • 1 large box of kleenex

PLEASE BE SURE TO LABEL ALL YOUR SUPPLIES AND BELONGINGS

Note: The HOME EC. Teacher will discuss sewing projects with the students at the beginning of the sewing term.

A list of required materials will be given at that time.

The INDUSTRIAL ARTS program uses glues and paints that are permanent. Aprons are provided,

however an old long-sleeved shirt may be brought for additional protection
