FORREST SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Reading is one of the most important concepts our children can learn. Therefore, Forrest Elementary will be running a summer reading program again this year. This program is designed to maintain the skills your child learned and developed throughout the year.
Students who join the Summer Reading Program read to his/her parent(s) for 5 to 15 minutes a day, depending on grade and do related activities. Students record their reading progress in the provided reading log. The signed reading logs are to kept and returned to Mrs. Schroeder at the beginning of school in the fall. Rewards will be given out at our school assembly.
