On the last day before Christmas break, the Grade 3s and 4s participated in a Christmas-themed STEM challenge.  Groups were challenged to build a new sleigh for Santa.  Each sleigh had to meet certain criteria – be able to hold at least 3 gifts and "Santa" safely, as well as slide down a ramp for take-off.

Students excitedly built and tested their creations and proudly presented their designs to the group at the end.  It was a fun morning of creativity!

Special thanks to the Rivers and Area Community Foundation for granting monies towards supplies for this and future projects.
